Class assignment self portrait: 1
The assignment was to do a 30 minute speed painting self portrait using a limited color palette selected from fruits we did gouache-color samples from with varying tints.
My fruits were Eggplant, Kiwi, Tomato and Lemon
I wear gloves every day, usually to help my hands from getting quite so filthy with charcoal and ink... it doesn't show up on black gloves.

These are all so awesome, gorgeous, and creepy at the same time! You really rock the limited color palette. ;] I love the creepy feel and gritty textures in all of these, and the hair is so wild and expressive! The claw-like hands on the first you posted were really awesome too. I think that was my favorite of the four. ^^
You paint better in 30 minutes than some people I've seen paint in a week. XD I just love being one of your watchers and seeing all your awesome art, and getting to see your school as well as personal stuff is great! You are a truly awesome artist.
